Dr Chantelle Belladonna is from Perth and studied Medicine at University of Notre Dame (Fremantle), graduating in 2009. She did her internship and 18 months residency in Sir Charles Gairdner hospital, followed by 6 months at Princess Margaret hospital and 6 months at King Edward Memorial Hospital. Chantelle commenced training in General Practice in 2013, and joined Brighton Beach Medical Centre on completion of her General Practice training in January 2015.

Interests:

Chantelle enjoys all areas of general practice, with particular interests in women’s health and family planning (including insertion/ removal of lmplanon), preventative medicine and mental health. She is also interested in teaching and became a WAGPET supervisor in 2015 (assisting in the training of GP registrars).

Qualifications:

  • MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery), BSc (Bachelor of Science), FRACGP

 

NDC

In more recent years, Chantelle has become passionate about perinatal health and breastfeeding medicine. She is an accredited NDC practitioner using the possums framework to provide new parents with holistic support for common problems in early childhood such as feeding difficulties, sleep problems and infant cry-fuss problems.
