Dr Oliver Chen
Dr Chen is a Supervising GP with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, where he is actively involved in training and mentoring registrars. He joined Brighton Beach Medical Centre in January 2023 as a registrar and has since become a highly valued member of the team, building a strong and loyal patient base.
Having grown up in Perth, Dr Chen completed his medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 2015. He has since gained broad clinical experience across a wide range of specialties, working in both metropolitan and rural hospitals throughout Western Australia and interstate. His experience includes emergency medicine, ophthalmology, cardiology, geriatrics, rehabilitation, general medicine, and general surgery.
Dr Chen is known for his warm, patient-centred approach. He places a strong emphasis on holistic care, working collaboratively with patients to understand their individual needs and support their long-term health.
Outside of medicine, Dr Chen enjoys rock climbing and photography, which provide a creative and active balance to his professional life.
