Dr Susana Rodriguez

Dr Susana is a highly experienced General Practitioner, dedicated to supporting women through perimenopause and menopause. She is a proud member of the Australasian Menopause Society, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based care for women during this transformative stage of life.

Dr Susana graduated in 2003 from the prestigious University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, completing eight years of rigorous study in medical technology, medicine, and surgery. She gained broad hospital experience in paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, elderly care, and emergency medicine before relocating to the UK in 2005. In the UK, she worked at St. Mary’s Hospital in London and hospitals across Cheshire, Dorset, and Hampshire for 10 years, completing her General Practice training within the NHS.

Since moving to Australia in 2015, Dr Susana has focused on providing comprehensive patient care. She has a particular expertise in skin and hair changes associated with menopause, offering advanced assessments through dermoscopy and managing hair loss, including androgenic alopecia. Her unique combination of menopause knowledge with dermatology and hair-loss expertise allows her to address issues that are often overlooked but deeply impact women’s confidence and quality of life.

Dr Susana is committed to building strong, supportive relationships with her patients and delivering care that is both professional and approachable. Fluent in English and Tagalog, she welcomes women from all backgrounds to seek guidance and support through perimenopause and menopause.
